i want to put fiesta turbo lump in my sisters car for her birthday, ie: It will be a suprise, but i will need some help along the way, what am i best of doing to complete this project, what will i need to do, to complete it...........

good little cars when converted have done a good few conversions now i love them

 

is there any tips ya could give me, ie: modifyin will need a few, as this is going to be my first engine change lol cheers ste

 

Get a donor car instead of a lump from the scrappy then you can get the engine running away from the main loom before you remove it from your donor
it will also give you an idea of how the fuel sustem works ie pumps filters

you will also need
wiring loom and ecu
drive shafts
radiator and all hoses to be safe cooling fans
gearbox and a way to connect it to the shifter
engine mounts
exhaust
the engine may bolt straight in then its plain sailing reli

throttle cable clutch cable if you have a hydralic clutch on your car your away if not a pedal box will be needed
