Default help any mot testers

help needed my ford transit mk5 is due mot the chassis looks solid but when i lifted the wooden flooring in the back there are some large holes in the floor is this a mot fail.

thanks for the info isit ok to weld the plates in the back of the van instead of underneth as it makes the job easier.

If vehicle has a chassis (as per your tranny) and is not a monocoque construction then the 30cm from a mounting applies to the floor pan section

As for a repair easiest is to plate inside using a solid line of weld and leave exposed for tester to examine for retest

As a tester I would be happy with that !
