Default Magnetic sump plug

I want to buy a magnetic sump plug for my series1, I have had a look at the MSD site, and it looks like I need the "Ford all other" sump plug 40-14-1.5, is this the correct one ?
Thanks

Hi,
I recently bought one myself for my S1 and to be honest i didnt have a clue which one to buy so i just rung them in the end and ordered it over the phone by just asking for a sump plug for a S1.

Hope this helps..

BTW.
I found it a bit of a pain to fit as every time i got it anywhere near the sump it just stuck to it rather than going in the hole. Took me quite awhile which was rather annoying.

James,
I was giving him a bit of advise, after i'd laid on the floor for about 5 mins i actually found myself laughing at myself for being such a twat for not being able to get it in the hole(no puns please).

Def one of the best purchases i've made for the car tho, as i'm running in a new engine, i'll post up some pics soon as due for an oil change again next weekend.

Yeah ford should def have done some forward thinking there shouldnt they. Oh well the joys of old fords. Dont ya love em..
