Who has it then? And what do you think? Is it good with the wheel etc?

 

I got it few days ago only played it online. Its not bad graphics look amazin on my pc.

 

I quite like it. First couple of times i tried it i was struggling to get into it but now its growing on me and quite good fun

Got it hooked up with my G27 which I bought specially for it (£240 facking nicker!)

AMAZING game, its a shame the wheel is shite and keeps losing calibration!

 

i downloaded it last week but have no controller for it on my pc so have to use the keys at the mo!!! a bit wierd at the mo but good game. Which controller is best for the pc and how much are they?

 

G27 if you can splurge the cash on it, otherwise any decent wingman/formula gp wheel will do

Xbox 360 controller if you have space issues

 

does anyone know if they are makin this game for the wii? as i have f1 2009 and it was good,all completed now tho.i havent got an xbox or ps3 so im hoping they do a wii game for it

You've just said it's shite and loses calibration! Somehting my G25 has never done I may add. G25 is the better wheel, cheaper, G27 is just quieter and has more buttons (making it look shit!)

Got it, but not got the space for a wheel and that in my room.
Went with lotus cosworth, put opponents on amateur, with full race rules and damage. Managed to qualify 14th in the Aussie GP(3rd race?) had rain, stayed on the intermediates and came first!(10-20% race distance?) First game in ages I've really just enjoyed. Looks fantastic too!

i've got it for the ps3, and really dont need to feel like a racing driver to buy the wheel lol, in my opinion even the best steering wheels are pretty lame, seems like a good game though, maybe could have done with a 2player other than online.

 

Played it round a mates house last night. Was good, but wasn't really a 'wow' game. The career is well laid out, but the cars aren't any more or less realistic than other good driving games. Bit disappointed if I'm honest.

Think I'll stick with Forza!

 

It's cause my particular one is faulty, otherwise the wheel is pretty great in terms of the gear shifts and force feedback

Too bloody easy completed in on expert now but the quick game online is a blast

I agree with that, not really played F1 2010 but seen a few videos of it and doesnt really look that amazing! Im happy ticking along with Forza 3 until the next installment of what is clearly the best racing game EVER!

He clearly had it on easy. Although saying that, I'm currecntly 1st in my 1st season with difficulty on pro.

 

what team r u with mate? to get used to the game i did a few races with braking assistance on, but now ive turned it off im havin trouble slowing the cars down enough for the corners now lol

 

Awesome game. Just started my second season just signed with Red Bull Racing and my god the car is so much faster than the Virgin Cosworth.

 

With Lotus cosworth ofcourse!

 

easy bollox!! the only one that gives you a bit of grief is expert, learn to set it up properly in practice and its a walk in the park

 

love it ! its overtaken fifa 11 for me.

 

Well now I own this game im going to take back everything I said! It is an amazing game, so realistic in every way, cars look incredible, the cars seem to respond alot differently to the likes of Forza! It does highlight the need for good racing lines and smooth braking/acceleration which ive found has taken other racing games to a new level, playing Forza afterwards is a different experience completely!

Overall id give it 7/10, would be higher but as said above it would be better with a proper 2 player function!

 

Absolutely love it, one of the best racing games I've played!

i had that trouble rick. brake in a straight line, then throw the car in. works much better. i used to try braking and turning, but the 2010 game doesnt like that

 

havent been on line with it yet but started a 7 year career form the off with lotus.all aids are off! any one who says its easy is talking bollox! ive played games like these for years and always been good and i have struggled like fuck with it.although i do have a tendency to oversteer alot(always have)
my mate has been round who is far smoothe rthan me and quick and he cant believe the slides i can hold and how quick i still am.but it fucks the tyres lol.


just starting to adapt my style to be smoother but old habits die hard.

its definately the best f1 game,and tbh im more taken by this than gran turismo

I went out and got the game racer pro seat and g 27 wheel , not cheep but amazing. I had a wheel on xbox but with out a proper seat they no good. The seat changed my out look on Stearing wheels, totally awesome
