These cams will do the job http://www.y3k.com/product.php?xProd...b815e2b9111551
You then need a DVR to record on to. For 2 cams something like this will do http://www.y3k.com/product.php?xProd...b815e2b9111551 or you can by a DVR card for pc.
The cam above can be seen here in action https://passionford.com/forum/genera...od-friend.html

Mine is wireless to a box from thr camera but you still need to run the power to the camera so I have run wires too. Properly time stamped as well and can record on the sd cards as well as the dvr so it's all good.
You use RG59 cable for the video or you can even use cat 5 cable now with video blauns.
Cat 5 is easier as you have once cable for video & power. You use one twisted pair for the video and another twisted pair for power.
You can either get one PSU for each cam or a multi way psu which will power a number of cams.
I would avoid wireless cameras.

Ish, a couple of Qs for you
the dvr you posted up http://www.y3k.com/product.php?xProd...b815e2b9111551
any idea what hard drive it will take? cant see any mention of specs, and y3k want £60 more for one with a 500GB drive edit, found it sata 3.5" so for just under £53 you can have a 1.5TB drive in it.

Also the above DVR with the camera you mention but with wiring kit, is that all thats needed to get it all up and running? http://www.y3k.com/product.php?xProd...8cdb28f&xSec=6

The DVR will take 1 x SATA 3.5" drive of any brand.
It's worth checking with Y3K if it will be ok with a 1.5TB drive as sometimes the firmware of the DVR can have limitations on drive size.
I never buy the hard drives from Y3K, as they can be found cheaper from Ebuyer. CCL etc.
Cam, DVR & wiring kit is everything you need to get you up and running.
You will also need to connect the DVR to your broadband router with a cat 5 cable. As it's a 4 channel DVR you can always add up to 3 more cameras at a later date.
