It can quite easily be done DIY.

You use RG59 cable for the video or you can even use cat 5 cable now with video blauns.

Cat 5 is easier as you have once cable for video & power. You use one twisted pair for the video and another twisted pair for power.

You can either get one PSU for each cam or a multi way psu which will power a number of cams.

I would avoid wireless cameras.
