nice looking mondeo mate, been thinking about the morretes for mine but ive just done the black eyes for now as my mind still isnt made up.

Theres some nice mondeo's over in ireland and that 220 looks mint. I will eventualy get some pics up of mine as soon as it stops raining and i can clean her again lol

 

i searched for a set of morettes for months, couldnt find a set, so went with the blackeyes, couple of days later, a mate of mine who breaks MK2 V6's mondys phones me up, 'you still want some morettes ?' sods law. i couldnt say no though, they were brand new, and you can barely find second hand sets these days, never mind brand new, so i bit the bullet and bought them. they totally change the cars appearance. i had three mondys previous to this one, a 1.6 MK1, then a 2 litre MK1, the a MK3 ZS V6, id always stayed away from MK2's as i didnt like the standard headlights, but always liked them with morettes, so as soon as i bought the MK2, i was going to get a set of morettes by hook or by crook lol

i bought a set of damaged ones for the mrs car a few months ago and repaired but she didnt like thhem so i sold them on (gutted) ill just keep my eyes open for another set as theres no rush for now.

 

not a big fan of the bonnet bra but i must say it goes very well on yours and you have made me change my mind on them, nice car.

My ST200















Was going to sell it earlier this year but loads of messers.

Decided to buy a new car next April/May and this is going into my barn to be chopped up

I remember seeing it for sale not long after i bought mine i was gutted looks very nice
got mine home about 800 or so in repairs later it was fit for the road
but it still needs things doing LOL

 

I was gob smacked it didn't sell bud, it's been a great car! never owned a car for so long. Three years I have owned it now.

I have always owned cars out right, not one for drip etc so decided I will buy a new one next year so this has only got to last untill then.

But don't thin I'll be getting rid then either as I can't do the seling thing with messers, not got great people skills when it comes to people trting to get shit for free lol

But when I say chop it up I don't mean scrap

i would of snapped it up fella your only about 1hr 20mins from me cant beilve its not gone
i drove 3hrs to get mine then it sat on the drive way for about a month before i would drive it
i hate buying cars

 

cheers mate, at the moment its standard shocks and -50mm PI springs but upgrading
to coilovers soon.

 

This is my ST24, just got it back on the road and added some new 18" wheels to it.

 

My bro used to own that blue mondeo, it was a standard 1.8 when he first got it and put the ST kit ect. on it, nice to see it again.

im usually into the old escort rs or focus rs, but iv always had a thing for the odd mondeo.

had a state blue st24, got nicked by a potential buyer while i was showing it to him!



then last year i had this MINT st200 ltd saloon. only non police 51 plate iv seen either, wish i never sold it had full exhaust, remap, metal impellor, wheel refurb, clifford cat 1, bloke from scotland came down and bought it, id buy it back in a heartbeat!



then earlier this year i had a tdci zetec s 130 to runabout in. 100k and still gave 56pg on motorway, this was mint and should of kept it..

i bought it with the crap rims on, looks alot better on the mint originals



got some better pics of them all somewhere...

wouldnt mind an st220 or sttdci when i sell my rs..

there isnt many 51 plates at all let alone blue ones, mines on a 51 also but white and also rare as hell now and not the usual police one with millions of miles on

 

not many changes happened mate apart from full tints, different wheels, short shift, decent alarm ect. is that the same mondeo that was there when i picked the blue one up?

looks evil. ive been thinking about putting lamin-x on my morettes, whats the lights like at night with it on ?

 

a bit dimmer but you can compensate with brighter bulbs, the lamin-x is called subtle tint which tints by 6%. no probs with the mot.
