was going to but dont really want to push my rs until its been setup on the rollers,i went a couple years back to this meet and managed 38runs up the strip over 2 days,was awesome,and the old s2 never missed a beat

Done a bit of work on a friends Seat Leon Cupra R so hoping he gets a low 12 if not an 11
He was doing high 12's last year but has at least another 100bhp this time round

Sticking the r888 on the fiesta tonight for some last minute tweeks on the road,
Then its off to ajc's to stick it on the trailer!
Fingers crossed to beat my pb 1/4 mile!!

I'd be happy with a 12.63 lol and hopfully a 120 mph terminal as for a 12.2 ha I can dream lol maybe in the future

You WILL beat your PB. as shakespeare isnt uphill like pod..

Funny you say that as when I was at Pod last I popped my gear cable off the box about half way up strip.
Got out and my pumps literally stuck to the track
I was like FUCK! thats sticky!!!..
Especialy when it feels like off the line its slippery.

a few of my mates were in the old skool drag champian ship and most done there fastest times at shakespeare so only one way to find out

weather woz ok sat but pissed it down all nite we set off back at ten as it woz still bad, talked too loads of people and they seem sounder their than at pod. best run 13.3@111 just carnt seem to get it off the line but its only the first time the cars been run and i drove it their 150 miles and back and its only done 300 miles since build. so i mite rip the paddle out and put standerd spinner in
