They come apart at the fuel rail end at the dome shaped bit were the pipe goes on....there is a propper tool but i use 3 little flat screw drivers, If you look inside you will see a spring just lever it outover so the spring is in the outer dome then it will just pull apart.........then to reconnect just push back together..

What he said, the correct tool is I think from memory a 3/8 fuel line disconnect same as the air con pipe disconnect, it's put over the pipe slid up into the bell shape part to expand the wound spring inside to release, never tried it with 3 screwdrivers myself.

the bottom pic one

you see the small grey ring

what you do is ush the pipe in while under pressure you need to push the grey ring in then pull the pipe out

For the top pic I use a brass olive for a 15mm copper pipe, cut it open then slide it around the fuel rail pipe and then push it gently into the joint, it slips under the spring clip that holds the connection together then give the pipe a tug and it will come off

I bought the tool for these off ebay years ago. Was in a ford racing box.

Made it really easy to remove the pipe

All you need is a 2 prong tool, simply push into the plastic collar fully and pull the smaller pipe away from it. It'll fly out.

Then to replace simply push it back in, it's like a snap fit.
