Not sure if "aRSe" is still on here or not, he used to do some fantastic V8 headers though.

he makes a lovely set but you didn't fancy selling a kidney to fund them....

you could probably buy a kit from the states, bends/flanges etc , try summit racing

Huey at Spot on control cables (0118 9737973) makes headers for bike turbo conversions and could make you a set, Simpsons of Slough could too.

Have looked at quite a few but it looks like bespoke ones are my only option, I'm not wanting to be paying fortunes for them so I will make them myself if I have to.

Good place to start, TBH doubt it'll actually need anymore power than you can easily get N/A anyway, but sometimes its nice to just get carried away.

Couple more you could try.

http://www.btbexhausts.co.uk/ based in Northants

and

JP exhausts

http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/ based in Macclesfield

I have good experience of both companies and their work is spot on!

JP do the exhausts for someone I know and they look spot on.

Lance at OJZ Engineering.

He made mine and did a superb job.

What space issues do you have ?

Initially I bought a few cheap mild steel sets until I found one that was close. Passenger side was no problem, drivers was a nightmare.
I modified the mild steel drivers side and used it for a year or so. Then got Lance to make a proper set in stainless.
But depending where you need them to go, there might be something off the shelf. The Corvette stuff usually sits tighter into the block than Camaro or GTO ( Monaro )
On egay you can buy pretty cheap stainless manifolds from US or Oz too.

He has more recently made a new centre section for my car ( just at the weekend there actually )

He used a pair of Magnaflow silencers that I supplied for the middle. I'll look into the rear section at a later date, as just didnt have time to do anything more in the 2 days I had booked in.
Either way, I think it turned out great. I supplied V-bands so it could be taken apart in a matter of minutes if needed.

Also included a snap of a pair of demo manifolds he had lying about. The standard of work is amazing. photos may not do it justice.

The manifolds have been on for a few years now so dont look like much. The workmanship is second to none.

Passenger side is ok but drivers is the one that's tight...

Craig made his own headers as far as I know.

Your problem is very similar to my own. Steering arm passed right through where most header pipes fell.

Send me a direct email and I'll forward photos of my own, and I could maybe send you my mild steel RHS manifold to trial. It would then give you an idea of what is needed. Lance actually made a jig around mine as I wasnt able to give the car to him.

But the problem is very similar

But basically this is it. Cheap Pacesetter Camaro manifold with the front two tubes modified by me. These are 1.75" OD tubes. The stainless ones I had made by Lance are 2"

Cheapest fix would be some early 97/98 cast manifolds. Pretty sure they would fit no probs, but obviously be pretty crap.

This is a pic of the new 2" header, which was even trickier to fit !! 1.75" will be ideal for you though

Could always try Nick Paravani, uses all the exotic materials as well if customer wants but will only do by recommendations from some people, I can ask him if you want ?
Done this at all levels, does mostly historic stuff these days but all the exotica cars as well.
