as above im looking for some pics of the brake setups the touring car 500,s used to have ,ive tried search and cant find any

 

are there not better set ups out there now.

 

probably is dave ,just wondering what they used ,was it aps or similar?

 

oh...thought maybe you wanted a similar set up as back then.

 

AP 4 pots , 330mm x 35.5mm cross drilled discs ( obsolete now ! )
i have all the part numbers on the desk at work if you really need them !

 

355 ap discs and callipers also fitted

 

thanks guys ,i got a oldschool ap setup off a guy and the calipers mount directly to a 2wd hub ,as in their is no bracket,and i had never seen ap calipers that didnt have a locating bracket

 

I'm sure AP do both lug and radial mount ?

not anymore,its cheaper to make 1 caliper which can be used either side and then brackets to suit each individual application
the old APs which i used to use on my rally cars where handed and were unique to each car,nowerdays you just buy a caliber and brackets to suit any car produstions cost are less and you can mix and match APs products
