i cant open the bonnet on my 51 plate monedo diesel the key wont open itany other way to open it with out key thanks

 

no mate you will have to drill the lock. try spraying wd40 in the lock barrel before drilling it tho

my old one used to play up from time to time, try pushing the key and wiggeling etc, before you resort to drilling it

drill out the plastic behind the ford badge

Then the two flat sheared off bolts on ether side of the lock need to be drill out

Then remove the lock and replace when done with standard bolts !

if you are careful you won't need to replace anything other than the lock the badge will cover any holes you make

also, while you are at it, check to see if the plastic actuator is platic or metal as this is the bit you need ot change
