Been done loads of times. If you look in this months Performance Ford there's an article by my mate Ollie from OC Motorsport on how to fit a Puma engine in a Fiesta. The FRP engine is exactly the same apart from manifolds, cams etc but is the same physical size. A Puma is just a Fiesta with a different body and suspension after all.

Or buy a Puma to get better handling with said engine.

Took me & Ollie 14 hours start to finish to swap over good conversion

I've got a pumad zetec s with the frp remap and exhaust manifold, and gear box (so missing the cams and inlet) , and I love it. Loads of fun. Quicker then my girlfriends fiesta st all day long. Done mine in same time frame as above. Well worth it

Nice engine but bloody expensive to get hold of a genuine one and a pain in the ass to get genuine frp parts for from ford when you can easily tune the 1.6 to similar performance for less money.

If you can get one chep tho then great stuff! The mk5 z-s is a good chassis for it with a few simple mods

I put a racing puma enging in my other half mk5 zetec s well worth it. It is every think you need. Track, or every day car. Ok not the fastest enging to put in a fezza but by far the best all round. Tuch wood never let me down and i was lucky enth to get every think out of a racing puma that i needed for £1800 with 80k on the clock now done over 100k and falt less. Rolling road at 149bhp.
