Default Will an rs turbo head run on a carb engine?

Hi guys,
Was looking for a bit of advice to pass onto my mate.

He has a mk2 xr2 and is needing another engine, been offered a cvh with an rs turbo head and kent cam, but NA bottom end. He wants to run the engine NA,

1. Will the xr2 manifolds bolt straight on?
2. What lowers the compression ratio in an rs turbo, the head or pistons?
3. Is an rst head roughly ported, or is it smooth enough to run a carb?
4. Is the rst kent cam suitable for NA or a different profile (dont know what spec it is)
5. Is there anyway to check that the bottom end is actually NA? Bowels in pistons etc?

The guy said the only reason he put the rst head on is that they have bigger valves but it and the cam are otherwise the same as an NA cvh??

The head is off so can check stuff...
Thanks Guys!!!!

There's a few different heads for these, but as it's a hemi engine most likely a mix of both piston and head to determine cr, cam would be fine to use manifold would bolt right up, don't worry about smooth or rough, slightly rough works better, don't want a silky smooth finish.
I use a engine place that do loads of cvh's, could do worse than ring them 01359 251888, ask for brian.
