It's not hard to split a turbo apart and do a basic recon yourself, but if you find anything wrong have you got the correct equipment to properly fix it? And most importantly you wont be able to balance it correctly, which is probably why some DIY rebuilds don't last.

Give CR Turbos a call!

if you make sure the blades shaft nut etc go backtogether in the exact same position it wont need balancing!

i changed my seals thust washer and bearings

its actually a piece of piss, the hardest but was getting the nut to tighten at the end of the job and stop in the right position it originally was, think that took me 10 mins or so lol

when i put the shaft assembley on my balancing machine they are always out of balanced
i only done 3 in 5 years which were ok

shaft can wear out of round off center ect which will change the mass

all so what about the wear on the shaft seal aear or the main core
a coupel of thou wear and it will still fill lose with a new bearing kit in there and still leak oil

what boost are you running bill ,is it standard you may get away with it being standard
