Which is easier and cheaper i have a mk5 fiesta van 51 plate 1.8td 35 is it simpler to get mor bhp out of the engine or replace engine and if so what engine i dont have alot of spare money though to do this

2.0L zetec out of a mondeo. just buy a complete mondeo and use everything from it

can you not fit an intercooler and wind the pump up and the boost up on these?

These tune quite will. Pretty much the same engine that's in the 115bhp fucus td. Wind the boost up and turn up the fuling a bit. Use a focus intercooler and they go well. I've seen one with a bit of porting do 125 bhp on the mechanical pump for pennys.

Well, what ever you can make fit. A rs turbo one? Nothing to big as it won't fill up and make the car more laggy

i dont know if this will do the same but our joke p100 (not the blue one) thats a 1.8TD, just used as a field car mess around as there is alot of land we have permission to use we turned the fuel up and boost up etc and managed to get it from 57bhp @wheel to 96bhp @wheel but it smoked like a right bastard and was laggy!
