St170 head gasket

Hi the head gasket on my st170 has gone I'm gona change it just need to know how to lock the timing an any thing else to lookout for cheers for any help

get a cam/crank locking kit, comes with a flat metal bar to lock into the ends of the cams and a pin to lock the crank
