Hi there I am currently taking in the same project. I am literally taking everything from the focus and transferring it to the van. Subframe, suspension, steering rack, engine, ecu, full braking system, which will include traction control and abs. Also fitting a rear disc axle from connect with an axle flip to lower it. Also need to fabricate the pedals to fit as the focus ones are too long so using the transit brake and clutch and making the focus throttle pedal fit. It’s quite an involved job but will be worth it when finished. Also keeping the tank but flushing it out and using focus sender unit and new fuel lines. Keeping the van tank will hold more fuel than the focus one which will come in handy! Do you get yous done?
Hi I’ve just started my 2.5 conversion on Friday when I got back with the st. And I’m wondering if any body has done it yet. I have the engine in and subframes on(still to make some adjustments) and steering rack fitted just got to run the interior loom do the sender unit and fuel lines. im debating on getting a peddle Assembly to make it easier to fit the steering column. Some pictures would be help full if any one has got that far please
