Hi guys, recently bought myself a series 2 and the rear section of the exhaust looks like it's never been cleaned.

Are there any good methods or products that I can use to bring the shine right back?

Fine steel wool and Autosol or Megs NXT all metal polish

 

I wanna do my tail pipe on my car too cause thats a bit poo.

 

tin foil and some hot water works for a tail pipe gets all the black off the inside of pipe

Alloy wheel cleaner works well but be carefull with acid based versions and don't leave on for too long. For the really caked on stuff as said before, fine steel wool but forget autosol and similar others use Brasso as it's a much finer abrasive and imprortantly cheap as chips.

 

Depends on how bad it is....

If it's really bad, having loads of shit on it and going Blue and Yellow get at it with a wire cup brush on an angle grinder first.

Soak the thing in WD40 for about an hour then simply skim over it with the grinder to bring the true colour back then use wet'n dry sand paper 1800 grade with Autosol,

THEN use soft cloth to buff it.

Don't waste your money on autosol if it's bad to begin with, you'll use tubes of the stuff....

 

For items like kettles that don't get filthy,
Hot water with Lemon or distilled white vinegar will remove limescale from chrome and stainless steel.

For items such as cookers that get very dirty,
~Wash surfaces with hot, soapy water (dishwashing liquid is fine) and a nonabrasive sponge, working both with and against the grain (yes, stainless steel has a grain) to lift buildup. Dry with a towel. Don’t be alarmed if appliances look duller than usual; you have just removed kitchen grease and residual cleaning products.
~Apply a layer of stainless-steel polish according to the package directions, wiping off any excess immediately. (available at any supermarket)
~With a clean, dry towel, buff the polish into the surface, going with the grain, until it shines and the towel comes away dry.
