We do have much those "superturbo"diesels here in finland. Few tractor pulling guys are really pro to build those.

Friend of mine had w201 190D with om603 3,0 litre diesel with big holset etc. 450bhp/650-700nm.

E2: Its so simple to build that kind of car: only u need is a good diesel merc, big turbo from some scania or other truck, and bigger "parts" (dont know the real word) in original fuel pump. And 110bhp rises to 400bhp.
