Default ford focus 2.0 zetec nightmare. plz help!

I've had my 2000 w reg focus for just over a year now.. to start off with car started cutting out now and again, but speedo wasn't working properly so i got speedo sensor changed, car was ok for a few months. Now car has started cutting out again, it happens now and again. It seems to be when I'm slowing down and just gone into 2nd gear (usually when i turn a corner). I took it to a garage and they got the diagnostic computer onto it and said there was a fueling problem but couldnt pinpoint what it was or that it was definately this that was causing the problem... I'm in desperate need of help! i'm cuttin down hours at work to start college, so hopin not too spend loads on trial and error! lol cheers

What were the exact fault codes read, preferably including the numbers?
What were the suggestions from whoever read the codes?

i can only tell you that it started with P, and all he said was that a pipe could need changing as it was squashed slightly.. it was only an air pipe somewhere at the rear/ bottom of engine bay. my partner (whose account im using) changed this pipe, but i dnt feel the problem has gone altogether as i sometimes feel it losing compression and the engine management light has flickered a couple of times.. Garage did say could be trial and error. also he said that wouldn't be a sensor or it would have pin pointed the problem on the comp.
