Default My new car :)

got hold of a ST 2 days ago as nobody wanted it on ebay? mot until end of june 2011, taxing it today

mileage on 149k not long had new rear tires, fronts are getting there lol!
all the normal extras inside that you probably all aware of.
underneath is pretty clean/solid apart from the underneath of the spare wheel well looks a bit rusty (common i think).
missing 2 jacking plates on the side and one on the rear and the grille is held on with cable ties! other than that its all pretty good.

yeah i know, im watching a couple on ebay for the sides at present but after i been to maidstone dvla to tax it im off to the breakers to get the alarm siren as its missing, so will hope an prey that i just so magically stumble across one in there pmsfl!!

not sure on plans at the moment because if im honest i not all that keen on it yet! only got rid of previous car (rover 25)as it was too small, and expecting our 3rd baby in december and 2 car seats and 1 booster seat in the back of that was a nightmare! this came along an the "mrs" liked it so if she's happy, im kind of happy lol!! i started turning it into a ZR rep and am over on theMGZR.co.uk

Speakers in the doors are standard as far as i know! bit rattly but will do for now, got my other Vibe amp and Vibe parcel shelf speakers to fit (if the gaps on the parcel shelf are big enough) might do that tomorrow! can anyone tell me the speaker sizes of the ones in the doors???

Looks a good buy, reminds me of my old one. I thought the ST24 had half leather seats, silver dash and silver gear knob??

the rears are half leather so maybe the fronts have been changed? the dash surround round the clock, vents an dials is a silvery color but the rest is standard so that may have also been changed at some point?

The seats have been changed as those are from a MK1 Ghia X Mondeo.

Each of the 4 jacking point covers are different and have a different finish code so be careful.
