.....people i own a cosworth, i am used to unreliability
...but those seadoo's are a big no for me....hopefully polaris will be better...can rebuild myself so cost wise not too bothered.

Id stay away from seadoo they mostly get towed in
Ive had 2 yamaha's and id stick with yamaha / kawazaki
Have a look at the kawasaki ultra 250x what a machine
vx110 and a gp1300r both totally different but really good fun.
vx110 ideal for 1 or 2 and towing and at sea
gp1300r basically a race machine raw and fun

as for restrictions on riding them depends where you are planining on riding it
insurance for my boat is £220 per year
john
onyl restrictions depends where you launch them i.e speed out of the marina etc to be honest a lot of it is behaving and common sence most places require insurance but this is only cheap
well i have the new licence wich i dont get so i just kinda hope for the best and go by the polacy of if it looks allright it will be allright i.e ill drive the tractor with a load in the back of a couple of tonne as it doesnt look out of place but i wouldent pull a car with my car for example which does look out of place and i dont think a jet ski (providing its a small one not one of theose mahosive things will look out of place) would look out of place. would be intending to either launch from my mates dads private launch or the launch at the haurbour. do you need insurence or anything for them?
best bet is to get insurance as that is the minum you will need to launch at the haurbour
but u might not even need that
some place also will want you to have done an RYA PWC Training
its only a dar coures and about £150
then you can go just about anywhere you want
