Hi guys, does anyone know where i can get a recon or used xr3i engine 90spec mark 4 cvh efi. or is there an alternative engine i can fit. Help would be much appriciated.

need to try and keep the car standard as it has classic insurance,How much of a job is it to convert it to zetec?

 

i have a cvh hanging around from my old mk5 cab, pretty much the same thing! drop me a PM if you're interested A ZVH (zetec bottom end, cvh head) is a nice idea if you need it to 'look' standard under the bonnet, but you'd be screwed if you had an accident and they found out

 

yeah you are right, insurance would take me to the cleaners. Its a nightmare trying to find a cvh 3i engine. The rest of the car is standard so i should keep it to the original spec. If anyone knows of anyone breaking a 3i or anything with a efi cvh engine,please contact me..cheers
