What to get on PS3? (another thread gone to s**t)
So after deciding i really need to start using my ps3 for things other than BluRay and Singstar ive decided to get back into a bit of gaming.
I was always a 360 man but i moved to ps3 when i got bored of the same old war games on 360.
So far i have
FIFA 10
Grid
Heavy Rain
Resident Evil 5
Call of duty 4
resistance
Silent Hill
Siren Blood curse
Ive played hardly any of them other than Fifa 10
What should i play first! and what other games should i be on the lookout for. I was always into gamerscore which helped me get over 100,000 points within first couple of years of 360 being released.
Also anyone else play any of these games on here? If so i could be up for a game.

ive heard uncharted 1 and 2. Definately getting red dead and cant wait for mafia as i loved the first one on PC

I used to be a pc geek too but that was when mega drives and snes were the only consoles.
Pc does not compete with PS3 or XBOX in my opinion.
Not in gameplay, games available, online facilities, And dare i say it graphics on 90% of games unless you have 2.5K of rig...
Pc gaming is old school now IMO. when i was in school i was a pc gamer but that was a long time ago.
Football manager is the only pc game worth playing.
All in my opinion of course!

gameplay is ALOT better with mouse keyboard ! online well we all know its alot better easier, faster, my graphics blow away any console and it only cost £690
but im with you on the WOW game

I take it you have amd instead of a proper pc I7 quad extreme. £700 just for processer.
everyday Pcs just dont blow away consoles for graphics anymore. especially when the multi platform games are not designed specifically for pc like they used to be.
Ps3 is 1080p anyway yes FPS may be less but its marginal in quality depending on games.
And pc just has not got the lineup it used to have. And a keyboard and mouse is not better for playing a football game for instance.
Forza or gt5 on pc?

Instead i spent £25 and bought heavy rain.
for instance i7 and MB £700
8Gig atleast Ram £200
Crossfire 1gig card £300 x2
Solid state drive £300
52 inch 1080p 1K plus
for what less games and 10% better graphics.
on the other hand £300 and plug into your exsisting tele.
Job done!

I use to do online gaming on pc, age of empires was my fav,BUT you cant beat chilling back with just a controler in your hand,can be arsed sat at a desk with a mouse and a million keys to use lol

Was in game today and their pc section is shocking, 10 years ago that was not the case but things have moved on.
I tried to buy a pc/mac game last christmas (it was actually football manager)
The guy in game told me that they stop doing pc games over christmas in lakeside GAME as they dont get enough call for it LMAO
But pc is much better

could plug into the tv but who wants lag and shite hz
£690 for pc already had monitor but its a iiyama vision master pro 454 so can go to 150hz if i need to 
i would never have amd
quad core Q8400 overclocked to 3.9ghz 8gig of corsair 1066mhz ram etc also clocked... sound
intercooler
theres plenty of selection for pc games just depends what you want?

nice spec danneth looks a lot like my old motherboard and graphics card.
Theres nothing like the selection on ps3 and xbox though unfortunately and if i have bout a piece of equipment to game on surely i want the best games???

The pc is only as good as you build it and is customisable to how you want it, I used to play Battlefield 2 with Special Forces add on online alot, Command And Conquer Generals with Zero Hour add on, GTA III and Vice City, and then I got a PS3 and never looked back. It's my gaming system and media centre, I only use my pc for facetube and e-mail

steam? i got steam but dont use it i use xfire,theres multiple choices youre not limited to one
and you dont need a 2.5k system to better console graphics,i paid under a grand for mine over 12 months ago and it looks and performs better than xbox and ps3
