depends on what type of games ur into mate, atm im playing fallout 3 (again), gt4, red dead, need for speed shift, oblivion and mw2.
with the whole pc vs xbox/ps3 well...... ive got both xbox 360 & ps3 & a very high end quad core pc. i use the 360 for gaming, ps3 for blue rays and the pc for the net and downloading the only games ive got for the pc is the command and conquer games lol.
i do like putting the odd game on the pc and modding the hell out of it, gta san ann with flying darleks mint!!!! lol

Was in game today and their pc section is shocking, 10 years ago that was not the case but things have moved on.
I tried to buy a pc/mac game last christmas (it was actually football manager)

if youve only got Ł250 to spend you wouldnt be looking for a pc to play games on surely
i didnt buy mine specifically to play games just so happened i could afford one at the time that outperforms all todays consoles
which is a bonus so i banged the old xbox on ebay

I think a lot of the people on here are all the same. Xbox for games ps3 for bluray/games and pc for surfing and downloading.
That really is the way now

I've got a PS3 and ended up selling all my games because they were shit, all I kept was GTA, Tomb Raider, NFS Shift, COD4, MW2, and Heavy Rain.
Since then I've bought the last Broken Sword, and the Stalker games all for the PC, IMO, the PS3 doesn't have a good selection of great games, infact most are shit!

I have a high end PC, PS3 and 360.
My PC gets most use because it simply does everything. Consoles can only play catch up with most things. Games look so much nicer on PC, example I've just downloaded MAFIA 2 demo on pc and PS3, the PS3 version for some reason looks awful in comparison. The playstation still struggles to anti alias.
The 360 gets used quite regularly for forza 3 and bioshock 2 and the PS3 is generally just a DVD & Bluray player, until GT5 eventually makes an appearance.
I can't see why people get so wound up about the different consoles and pc arguments. Just buy all 3 and be happy!
Its a free world do and own what you want, but don't try and make me do what YOU want.

Most pc games are not on the shelves in the highstreet now as so many companies offer digital pruchases for next to nothing. (steam, yuplay etc..)
The main reason nobody stocks PC games is because they can't make the mark up prices on them. Example, MAFIA2 which is out in the next few weeks is being priced around Ł45-50 on console, where as you can pre-order pc download from steam for Ł26, there is no way a highstreet store can compete with that, so they don't bother.
PC's are better for games for the fact you get community mods etc making the games better. However, the market has dropped and most major titles are being released 3-4 months later on pc as the companies can make more money on the consoles.

thats it im going to build the ultimate gaming pc and see what happens...
As said by a few already have all 3 so thats what im going to do.
Then i can judge for myslef, I do hate people that judge without having and now im doing it.
Unfortunately im going on my experience of pc gaming 5-10 years ago.
Lets see if its any better nowdays PS. i loved mafia so this could be a great expense just for one game!

If I wanted to buy a machine to play games on, I'd get an xBox or PS3. If I wanted to look at child porn, and stalk 13 year old girls on MSN I'd buy a PC.

On the console version it has these effects on Vito's jackets much like batmans cape in arkham asylum. However, on the pc version every item of clothing has these material effects (NPC's etc, also having a higher draw distance) and it can be a real GPU punisher. There are a few tweak guides to remove some of the clothing effects and keep partical effects which is good.
