today i stripped the turbo as it was smoking and expected it to just need new seals,well the housing is split and it has in and out play,i have spent far too much on it not to mention the time restoring it.if no-one takes the shell im going to crush it with a bulldozer for all the hassle i went through welding it up.all parts are plus postage,some parts will be ready to be sent off tomorrow.

incase you missed the 1st line of my ad,yes i have the turbo,condition is category 1 fucked,split turbine housing,in and out/side to side movement,chunk missing from water jacket,its currently in bits on my garage floor and thats why im breaking the whole car.if you want it ill send you it.it does have a good turbo technics badge though!

cant remember the make but its 2 months old,never seen rain and has done 200 miles,the full cage was shot blasted and powdercoated gloss black,what seals do you need?the door frame to door or the lower window seal?my window seals are brand new,1 is still in its bag and the big door seals are mint too.

 

i understand you having a prob with the cracked housing, but what is wrong with the "in and out play" on your turbo if its getting re built with new bearings and thrust washer and disc? thats the whole poiont of the re build, to sort that out, the seals dont wear in so much as the shaft moves too much due to the worn bearings and oil then bypasses the seals as they cant cope with the large ammount of movement.

 

yeah i need the door frame to door big seal. Would u grab us a pic of fuel pump and bracket set up please. Im away on holiday this week so if u dont hear back from me again u know why as im on net with phone here and it hardly lets me get on here. I'll be bk saturday though. Cheers mate

 

dunno,but side to side movement doesnt get as much bad critiscism as in and out play.the turbo rebuild place on ebay said that.but the whole thing is shagged.ill text you a pic.
