Default Audi A3 1.8T problems already....

Only done 20 miles in the car and now I can't select any gear. There has been no slipping of the clutch but the pedal is right down to the floor. Any ideas?

There's a plastic clip that attaches the cable to the pedal, mine snapped at the worst moment possible along with LOADS of other problems on my A3 lol.

If you look under the pedal you should see if it's gone. It's a white block at the back of the pedal, it wears and it pulls through. You need to lie on your back to see it as it's right up at the back.

Thats the place to look, its where the pushrod for the master cyl is connected to the pedal. The pedal breaks here, best to weld the square metal piece back in position, it breaks because VAG only have one little spot weld there.

Cant find the camera. I just cant see it being the clutch as there has been no slipping at all. I drove it home yesterday no probs and now the biting point is no existent.
