a few weeks ago i was having problems with my car battery draining itself due to a bad earth, and the clifford decided to go off at 4am (on a work night) because the battery was totally dead the clifford kicked in.

so i ran out in my bathrobe, half asleep, and it wouldnt turn off because the car had no power! and the car is delocked so i couldnt open it.

after about 10 minutes i managed to get in the boot and attached a car starter to the battery, and the alarm stopped.

anyone who has heard a clifford bell will know how fooking loud they are. there was alot of curtains twitching while it was going off

A trick used by some naughty people is to keep setting it off so you leave it off, just a thought.
For anyone that has de locked the car, you can alwasy hide a connector someone so you cna power it up if needed due to flat battery to get doors open etc.
I would just put the feed through my trailer socket on tow bar as the 12S is connected direct to live and earth.

My clifford alarm kept going off when I first got the car couldn't work out what it was, anyway turned out to be the microwave setting it off every time you turned the thing on lol. .
Ive turned the micro sensor down now and its okay now.

i am very aware of this trick and always goto the car to reset the alarm and not just do this from the house. it was because of that reason i was on gaurd most the night but the alarm has not done it since so i'm keeping a eye out tonight too but it may of just been a isolated occurance .

as to the de-locked issue i always planned on putting the connector in the front bumper behind the number plate
