Still getting to grips with my '98 2.0 Ghia - she's not perfect but I'm definately in love (sounds like the missus !!!) - however, she does keep doing little things that really annoy me (still sounds like the missus !! )

Latest issue is the rear passenger side window mechanism (electric) - my son lowered the window and amongst a strange noise from the mechanism, the cable has either snapped or come off of the mechanism. I've found many places selling "repair kits" on the web, but none come with instructions and I can't find any images of how the mechanism should look (where the cable runs). Money's tight so a complete new mechanism is out of the question, and in any case, the motor is fine, so I'd like to try and repair the existing.

Any tips, clues, drawings, advice would be greatly appreciated.

Take the other side door card off and then you can see how it all goes.
The lecky rears on mk1 focus are quite rare, as had trouble finding one for a neighbour.
A good place for spares is focus/mondeopart 01603 866999.
