Im going to be changing my lifters and was wondering while im in the is it worth while changing the cam bearings?
Has any one changed them before ie; how hard to change.
Also what Cam cover gasket is the better type. Genuine ford or Cometic??? Thanks for any help Dave.

 

if the bearings dont squeal at all then theres not point changing them but then for peace of mind if u dont mind buying new ones might be worth changing them, upto you that one really!! Gasket wise geniune are good but so are cometic, theres actually a guy on ebay that sells cometic style ones that are alot cheaper but made of the same material and work ok!!
