Just fitted my new fuel pump loom,but a bit confused with it! Iv had to mount the relay in the boot,passenger side due to the length of the cables.Are most remade looms like this? or as per original fit inside dash?

 

Who did you get the loom from? I know that there are some different types of fuel pump looms around so it depends on who made it. The relay on the first loom i got from Prometheus Motorsport was to be placed with the original yellow relay behind the dash. I didn't get this loom to work so i have ordered a new one which goes directly from the battery and back to the pump, not through the original relay like the first one. With this loom i have to place the relay in the boot.

 

Got my loom of CW Looms and also had to place my relay in the boot.

 

i got mine off ryan on here , relay in the boot (not fitted yet)
i,m sure if you asked your loom maker they would supply how you want it , im certainly no sparky but what is confusing you ?

It came from someone local to me,only bit i was confused about was fitting the relay in the boot,would rather it be in the original place,but never mind,still a good quality loom and works fine.

 

Thanks lee,it came from a guy in cardiff whos making them,its good quality but was a little confuse about the relay in the boot bit! But all clear now.Il come over one day and have a look round you setup anywy if you dont mind.
