Around Ł200 per side for a decent job I'd say sure that's what I paid, hard to say as had a shit load of other stuff done at same time but 200-250 is around right.

My dads just had both rear arches done on his mondeo mk1, as well as a new rear bumper(he hit something), all painted fitted etc, Ł450 inc vat, which I thought was good, job is ace, the same people doing my 4be bonnet and new bumper, and they give against thier work TEN YEARS WARRANTY against rust, even on the bumper he said!!
He's got a mk2 FRS as well so is a ford boy at heart.

Ł200 to Ł250? wow
I am paying about 800 for this but they have cut out a little hole behind the n/s boot carpet on the floor bit as rain water was getting in the boot from the tyres spashing. only a 5pence hole though. and there was a lot of rust on the n/.s arch.
was hoping to pickthe car up tonight and post the photos on here but looks like ihave to wait till monday. bugger lol..

well they have not been filled. thats the reason why i have had them done because the previous, previous owner only had them filled in and did a shit job. i am getting the photos of the company tomorrow of each stage hopefully, cutting out, welding priming etc etc etc. yes they have used filler but that for the smoothing as in the pics at the top of this thread.

could be the way i took the pics, which was done quickly as it is raining here at the mo

no no lol. didn't cut the whole 1/4 out. they.... (hard to explain lol) cut it around a couple inchs in as if it was having 24 inch wheels fitted. then they had the new panel and cut it to the required amount. basically where the filler looking stuff is on the first few photo's of this thread is the new part of the arches. they welded them in then smothed it down with a grinder i presume and then used the filler stuff to get it but smooth for priming and painting. i'll have a bucthers at the photos they are sending me tomorrow.

cheeRS glenny boy. happy you said rust is showing through already, NOT, lol.
did your's have similar to mine having the archs cut out?

i asked the guy what gaurentee he does and he said he would sort it out even if it rusts in 10 years time so to speak. he's restoring a mk2 escort himself so he like his fords

Looks like a pukka job.Just done my driverside arch myself, the same way as that.Only a slight skim of filler used to blend the shape back in.
