Default oil temp gauge

as above my cars got 3 tim gauges fitted but the oil temp gauge isnt wired up, the wire is just coiled up next to the battery just want to know where to join/plug it in ect. as i really want them all working cheers

Are your other gauges electric? if so take the ignition feed off of them and the temp sender for the oil acts as your earth. Im assuming the wire coiled up by the battery is supposed to go off to the sender, defo not the battery.

really dont know it was just like that when i got the car i asked the person i bought it off if he knew why it didnt work and he told me it wasnt connected and the wire was just coiled up next to the battery?


best pic ive got of the gauages at minute until i get home if that helps the rest all work
