I got my fave gasket sealant and used that, Loctite 5900 or 5910, seriously sticks well, it is actually a flange sealant, used on production lines(5910) with 5 min cure time, evenhave shelves in the garage held up with it and use it on all threads etc to seal.
Pricey but for a reason.

heat it up with an air gun to get the glue all soft and be careful not to bend it when prising it away from the bodywork

Or use proper glue remover from a paint specialist - makes it easy peezy.

Glue goes soft then can be reused when it hardens sometimes... though I would use new trim tape. If it stays on the car side it just rolls off... only I would recomend gloves - not what Liam did!

i used 12lb fishing line to cut through the foam tape on mine mate, worked a treat!

For sticking stuff back on i just brought some automotive double sided foam stuff, i used a brand new wood chisel to get the remains of the old stuff off

worked ok for me

I would only ever use 3m acrylic tape for the trims its awesome stuff
as for removing it I used welding wire and a toffie wheel to remove all the bits tape from the car and trims

I find the double sided tape is too thick, they stand out proud. Mine were stuck on with this but don't look right, and are now stuck on with superglue, no-nails, impact adhesive, and anything else I find as more bits come off!
