its missing the fecking pulley wheel!!!!!!!!!FFS WTF. Never in all my years have I had an alternator supplied without the pulley wheel.

I ordered it over the last week and was very specific. My girlfriend went to pick it up on Friday and drop off the old one and turned out they had ordered the wrong one.

So the parts guy had to order another using the P/N on the old unit and kept the old one. She went to pick it up today and this has now happened. And just noticed on the receipt that any returns are subject to a 15% surcharge as well because it was special order WTF!

 

im sure any number of us on here have spares

i have a box with maybe 20 rs alts i cant sells cos i havent used em in a long time

 

cheeRS mate, if I don't get this sorted tomorrow (hopefully my old one has not been sent away yet) I will be in touch to get a pulley if you can. Fingers crossed!

Went to the motor factors this morning and they still have the old one but have agreed to supply a Lucas one with the pulley but will not be in until tomorrow afternoon. Quite glad cos the one they gave me yesterday was marked made in China which I am not too keen on. Looking forward to blasting the car again tho!!
