Default Escort Mk4/Orion Mk2 Avo Coilovers

Brought a set for my orion mk2, got them fitted and set-up yesterday and now when i drive it there is a bang from the front everytime i go over a small but harsh bump... When i 1st fitted them they didn't do it, but they were too low so i've adjusted them to sit higher and now they make this bang.
Its on the rebound side of the bump it seems, ie when the wheel falls back down after hitting the bump and it bangs whether they are set to hard or soft.
Should there be a bump stop on the avo coilovers as i couldn't see one when fitting but my koni bump stop didnt fit on the avo's so i havnt fitted one myself!?

Cheers guys!

2nd hand but never been used... still in boxes when i got em.
It drives nice, but just knocks on small sharp bumps.

As new more likley to be a joint on the car knocking, as you've disturbed it when fitting the avo's, just co incidence.

I think ive found the answer...
Spoke to avo 2day, and it seems im running the car too high for the shocks so they are "topping out" gotta lower it more!
