My one has died


I need a new one to run the PC and to have a bit of storage space on

what spec one am i looking at guys?

im going to nip to PC world tonight so need some pointers

i was looking at this one?

Aldi had some western Digital 250gb drives for £79.99. Not sure how long they had them for.

U'll always pay over the odds for pc compoents in somewhere like pc world. But if u need it here and now u've not got much choice.

aye thats a decent hard drive. you ned to make sure your motherboard will support Ultra ATA though. other than that...

My brother (NeilFromNorfolkNoCar) got one of the Aldi ones. He is getting on great with it AFAIK.

100 notes for a 160Gb hard drive!

buy this fucker for £71 its bigger than the seagate one and doesnt make that HORRIBLE grinding noise that ALL seagate drives make!

Mate bought one yesterday, and cant fault it at all!

Might be worth considering? or at least having a look at?

250Gigs for £80 can't be bad? plus a 3 year warranty if its not up to scratch?

cheers guys, i just need one tonight urgently. No Aldi's near me whatsoever.

could i just get a cheap small spaced HD to run XP

then buy one of the above 200gb drives as Drive D for storage etc???

ended up getting some samsung 40gb just for running the PC

will order one of the above bad boys later today
