Anyone been to Lapland over Christmas?
Thinking of going next year as a family thing on boxing day, what is there to do? Any advice? So far I have night in the ice hotel, husky sled ride and safari, snow mobile and a good few days skiing.
Anything else?
Anything else?
my sister went to lapland in dec for her honeymoon, took the kids to see father christmas,
for 4 days it cost £3500 and to there horror when they arrived it was £400 per ride, ie husky ride and sleigh ride,,,,, she said it was nothing but a rip off and NEVER AGAIN

we went in december 20th from manchester. was £400 each for a 1 day trip. left at 7am and got back at about 11pm. it was a great day for the litlun we had sleigh ride, husky ride, reindeer ride, met santa and he got a pressie. it included all meals etc.
they give you all the thermal clothes you need and it was well organised. dont think i'd like to go for more than one day mind cos they only have 2 hours of sunlight and its generally cloudy and snowing so you cant really tell when it gets *dark* cos it already is!. cant imagine what you would do there once you've done the things above and for little kids a 5 minute ride is all they want. worth a day trip.
