Default Engine noise need help asap!

hi all. when accelarating i get a very loud ticking noise coming from my engine! i really dont know what this is!! i have changed the followers because i thought it was these that were making the noise but that isnt the case! could it be bottom end? timing? or something else! please help! cheeRS!

amal valve? detonation?? lay of the boost mate till u find the problem at least.

no the exhaust gasket is fine! all nice n snug fit! its deffo comming from the engine! its a really quick loud ticky noice on hard acceleration, and a slow loud ticking noice from pull off.

Spun a bearing maybe or piston slap.....if it's definately not coming from the head might be worth whipping the sump off and checking the big ends first, how old is the engine??
If you're not too clued up on them and you have a good tuner nearby might be worth getting them to have a listen before you go ripping things apart though
