Just got my 3dr back from the bodyshop, decided to have a full respray after an engine bay fire.

Where can i get new strips that go along each side of the car from and where can i get the rubber seal that goes on the front grill ? I know someone put the name of a company ages and ages ago but i cant find the details.

A few years back Amber Performance had a batch made up so they must be worth a call. Regards to the grill rubber I don't have a clue I'm afraid

 

Cheers, i'll bell Amber tomorrow, after spending all the money on painting it, seemed silly to put old rubbers and trims on it.

I got a new grill strip from Ford just a few months ago - have to laugh at the folk paying Ł30+ on ebay - it only cost Ł12 inc VAT!

Yep i did, still doing stuff for RTOC but working my way out of it slowly, still got an R5 turbo stripped out with full roll cage for some track fun, thinking bout hill climbing it or sprinting it. I know i have too many cars but i just cant bear to sell any of them !

No of course not Neither have you though, considering i disappeared for a while, put 3 out of the 5 cars in storage for over 8 mths, moved house, and i come back and you're still here lol !!!

I am, positioned myself in the middle of Pod, Rockingham and Silverstone, i'm not really a petrolhead honest !!

I will be at Pod on the 23rd, if anyone is going, not in the cossie though, engine and wiring loom gotta go back in yet so look out for a turquoise 5 with a yellow roll cage parked with all the other 5's you cant miss it !!!

Its still in Mill Hill at the moment, being delivered back to me in the morning so i'll take some pics then. I had told them not to put the front bumper lights grille etc not back on yet as i dont want them damaged while we are leaning in the engine bay. You know what these dodgy mechanics are like !!!
