5 bar map sensor
Although the fact you are asking about a 5bar and dont know what's involved...is rather worrying.
Is anything else in your setup built to make use of such boost that you feel the need for such a sensor ?
And the Bosch is usually 4 bar ?

wiring it is no different to a normal map sensor....
1 wire is 0v
1 wire is 5v
1 wire is signal between 0-5v
simple really as imatrukas said its a temp sensor as well so that would also give you 1 wire for the temp signal.
as on a cossie pressure and temp take a common 0v from pin 11 i guess there is no reason why you couldn't use this sensor in your plenum to do away with the 3 bar and the manifold absolute temp sensor - guess it would depend on scope and spec of the temp range as its for a truck LOL...

With respect, it isnt the same, as the power supply pins are reversed.
If you just plug ia 5 bar sensor into the standard loom, it will destroy the sensor at worst or at best just age it significantly.
The sensor is originally from a diesel truck and as diesels dont generate any significant vacuum, these sensors are highly inaccurate in vacuum readings to a point that it cannot read below negative 0.5 bar so attention to detail must be paid in idle mapping and closed loop control.

How can the power pins be reversed as you have :-
Sensor
Cossie loom
Surely you connect the correct pins from the cossie ecu to the sensor....or have i missed somert here...
i brought the metal housing block that reyland supply for mine to fit in as didnt want to remove the plemum to drill it into like some have done.. reylands block then fits onto the original map sensor bracket..
also my secs monitor now reads the wrong boost ... ive asked before and dont thing this can be fixed..
