can anyone tell me what vanish/lacquer i could use on laminate flooring please?

Not sure mate, I can't imagine varnish keying to laminate myself but could be wrong!

i personally wouldnt bother; as lee said there is no key for it to stick to, it might look good for a few weeks but it will look awful once it starts to come off/ chip

u don't varnish laminate. only varnish or lacquer if its solid or engineered wood flooring!

cheers for the link lhd220turbo thats the sort of stuff i'm looking for

the reason being is that i'm working away and renting a flat, the whole place is laminate and so i dont loose my deposit i wanna make sure the kitchen and bathroom, yes bathroom, are sealed to the best they can be

obviously if it were mine i will tile both rooms however the owner is not willing to do this

If hes used the correct laminate in the kitchen and bathroom it should be fine, if not its his problem not yours!

in an ideal world thats true, however i work away a lot for 3 months plus at a time and have come across some pretty picky landlords im afraid
