Default Cheapest place to buy AP six paddle for 2wd cos?

As title.

May consider other makes too. My standard clutch is slipping in third upwards now so want something that can take the abuse.

Cheers

I'd rather push my car than fit a Technibollocks clutch!!

Yeah I'll be going classic ford mate!

I haven't seen your feature yet mate, I'll have to buy a copy tomorrow. Paul was saying you weren't too happy with it?

AP 6 paddles are very heavy on your leg and the pedal - i found the alcon 6 paddle much easier to live with and also took 400bhp and torque no problem

Don't use a genuine Ford standard cover!! They are just too weak and don't have sufficient clamping force. Apparently the clutches are made now by LUK and are pretty much useless.

Pauls got one in his saph and it slips like fuck and my mate Ben's had 2 standard covers on a 6 paddle centre plate and that slips like fuck too and that's with a freshly skimmed flywheel, new cable, ratchet and pawl and everything else perfect. We're putting a proper AP Racing pressure plate in later today to hopefully sort the problem out!!

I've going to have to have the heavy pressure plate in mine too but I gotta do the hydraulic conversion to it due to fact I physically can't push the clutch pedal down and this is supposed to make it nice and light so may be worth doing this aswell!

Ram - Pauls got a point!!

The hydraulic conversion can be done for around Ł50-Ł70, and makes a MASSIVE difference to effort required, best thing ever esp for heavy covers.
My slave and master cyl cost me Ł26.58 all together delivered.
