hi
my brother has a s2 turbo and when its started from cold or has been driven and left for a couple of hours upon start up theres blue smoke which then clears after a minute or so.
what would be causing this?

As said above the oil is seaping past the seal's and when its started it burns off the oil giving the blue smoke that then clears
Some heads can be changed while still on the car with a special tool so no need for an expensive job .
