just bought a G plate in white seems ok bit tatty anyway when car is running al is fine but one warm and turned off couple minuites and she dont want to start any pointers i could have peple will be a great help as its ok when i fill up i cant start have to wait a few minuites then decides to start

 

naff sensor, small air leak or in need of a setup up, take it some where decent mate and get them to look at it, will save you loads of time and money in the long run!

Starter motors can be a bit dodgy when hot. Esspecially the excite wire. Worth a look.

 

all wires are new from battery to starter then starter to alt all new also from loom to starter, could do with a tune up but would this effect it as it starts in the morning or left to cool for about 20mins its fine, when on temp then try starting nothing happens turns over no start someone did mention the coil wire from the fuse box ive never had an issue with myself????

 

mine was like this when i bought mine just cleaned up the cold start valve and it sorted it. hope this helps.

Yes a set up can sort this,

Mine did this because it was running lean, it started from cold because of the extra juice from the cold start injector... but no when warm. This was caused by 3 things,

Small air leak
Bad coolant sensor
Bad setup (guy i bought it from had just adjusted the CO pot to cover the problem)

I found that if you take the filter top off and whilst some one is cranking the car push the flap down by a mm or two, if yours starts like this your running lean.

Try what rob has suggested. A friend of mine had to be started by pushing down the flap. My car wouldn't start when hot. Turned out to be the fuel accumilator.

A decent setup will sort out the problems.
