i have a rs500 running standard everything apart from the stage one chip
what type of horse power should i expect also are all 500s got notchy gearboxes

stage one is usually approx 270bhp -280bhp if im not mistaken, But in a RS500 it seems different than a std cossie stage 1, due to the T4 spooling up, higher up rev range and the way it comes on boost, I purchased mine with greens and 3 bar etc fitted (not stage 1 ), and was approx 330bhp, but seemed far more powerful than the escort cossie I had, which was also 330 bhp for a few years, I do remember totally wasting a lancer evo 6 and staying level with a porche 911 turbo on that conversion.

and my gearbox is not notchy, only goin to reverse (I select fifth gear before slippin into reverse)
