Default 1.8 xr2i clutch

my clutch has started slipping so im going to change it this weekend and wondered if any1 could throw me a quick guide together to do it?

my mate who is helping me has only done cable clutches before never a hydraulic.

im buying a clutch kit and a slave cylinder. so all will be changed at once.

i might be wrong as i have since been informed of this.

although i am using an ib5 gearbox if this makes any difference?

easiest way is to have a look at the top of the box and see if a cable is present , you might have a hydraulic clutch in it , but you said 1.8 xr2i , so I guess it is a mix match then
