makes me laugh the shit a poor turbo gets feels slow- turbos fault, engine pops- turbos fault, smoking - turbos fault

Ill stick my neck out and say 99% it ISNT the turbo,,, boost leak is most probable fault, has the actuator been set to run more than 8psi?? is it the right actuator?? like stu says wat makes you think summits up??? What has happened????????

does it have ableed valve/amal valve connected up to it? if not and the pipe runs str8 from comp housing you'd expect to see about 8psi on a -31 actuator

im not sure how its set up, as i said its a m8's. hes had a new -31. the turbo is also new. (new to him, second hand off ebay)

it has been running fine for the last couple of weeks, but now and again it wouldnt come on boost. he took it to a tuning company near us and there verdict was.....the turbo wont produce no more than 8psi.

i havent spoke to my m8 in person about it, just in txt as hes been at work.

the company he took it to havent really got much good feedback but he was deperate to get it sorted quickly

Or, on a more positive note, it might not have any blades on it.

it might be something as simple as nto enough preload on the actuator?

but arent -31's / -34's a minumum of a bar?

id say boost leak as when my bosst pipen had poped off i couldn get 8psi with no jubilee clip ( fook knows what the turbo was producing though )

that or the turbo is fooked, not unusual if its been running with a boost leek before and then it decided to go bollox

take it to another tuner as 8psi is not alot for a turbo that size , surely it can flow more air UNLESS ya boost hoses are the size or toilet waste pipes
