Default my cossie next to new RS in showroom

just thought i would put a pic up of my cossie next to the new focus Rs in the showroom at work,
seeing them next to each other really does show how OLD the cossie looks and is really tempting me into buying a Focus!

Agreed, although yours would look 1,000,000 times better with the splitter. A lack of one really lets the front end down!

Agree with the splitter comment, would still want the EsCos though, but that is my preference, love the Focus too, but always wanted an EsCos. To me though it just shows how big cars are today compared to say 10/15 years ago!?

Caption: Over the years, the RS has put on a LOT of weight!

Id take the escos any day, looks more purposeful at the front end

Brilliant comparison.. Yeah does make it look dated, but they are still cool as.
If anyone has really wanted an Escos then they should buy one before they buy something newer like the Focus RS. I use to think the Escos was so awsome until I bought a newer car.. that being an Evo8, and the Evo was such a better car as you could feel how the technology had advanced. But like I always say, you cant compare Cossies to focus Rs/ Evo's etc as it would be like comparing a master system to a PS3.

Nice Looking Cossie by the way.

When the Focus is as old as the Escort Im pretty sure it won't be worth 1/4 as much. The Focus RS's are nice cars and I would have one for a daily driver, but the Escort would always be the weekend fun car

Same as Silky - I think it looks wrong without door handles.

The only cool door handle mod I saw on a Ford (can't remember, but I think it was an RST) was them being shaved down flush with the door. Even then it still looked strange.

NIce! Not many dealerships would let you put a car like that in! I remember the Vospers ford dealer in plymouth and hes got a huge RS collection including an RS200 and he often has a few on show scattered round the showroom!
